The Phoenix Way…!!!

I’m the bird of fantasy

I’m the bird of eternity..

I sing song that soothes ur heart

My song can even pull you apart

My plumage has every color

I’m known for my perpetual vigor

At my end I burst to flame

And yet m born for a whole new game

I depict what’s your life

Be it bliss be it rife

You live your life my way

Think about it.. How many times have you trusted someone and faced the backstab…??

And yet when you meet new people.. You make them your friends and you trust them…

Somewhere down the line the fumble too.. And you tumble..

And still manage to stand up, wipe off the dirt, meet new people and face life again with a renewed confidence and zest..

How many times have you fallen in love.. Only to be ditched by the other person.. you are heartbroken.. sooooo down in the doldrums.. You promise yourself never to fall in love again..

And yet you manage to walk down the forbidden paths again.. And again and again..

Never say Die..!! Say some..While I say that’s the phoenix* way..!!

What does a phoenix do…?? Why is it called the eternal bird..?? The bird of fantasy..  Cos it’s the bird of life.. That’s how life is.. We burn ourselves and are born from our own ashes.. Ashes called experiences..Hurt… hatred.. Failure… breaking of trust.. All of it.. Experiences.. We face them all.. We lay low at the time of adversities and make hay when the sun shines but we never give up.. We fall down.. We are stubbed..Snubbed..Sidelined… kicked…and yet we still manage to stand up and walk.. We falter sometimes cos of our own mistakes… while sometimes cos of others.. But then in the end we manage to scrape through every twist and turn life throws at us.. and we emerge being only more colourful and tougher..

And that’s why I said we live life the phoenix way…!!!

So when you’re down or sad or feeling bad.. Fret not my friend.. Thou shall be born again.. 😀

*Phoenix is a mythical bird with a colorful plumage and a tail of gold and scarlet (or purple, blue, and green according to some legends). It has a 500 to 1,000 year life-cycle, near the end of which it builds itself a nest of twigs that then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix or phoenix egg arises, reborn anew to live again. The new phoenix is destined to live as long as its old self. In some stories, the new phoenix embalms the ashes of its old self in an egg made of myrrh and deposits it in the Egyptian city of Heliopolis (sun city in Greek). It is said that the bird’s cry is that of a beautiful song. In very few stories they are able to change into humans.
