Chalk and Cheese…!!

Skin swathed in milk

Crisp dress in silk

Rosy pink lips

Shiny polished tips

Jet black curls contouring the face

Breath-taking beauty, dripping with grace

Eyes like shimmering stars

Sweeping all those from Mars

Tall Voluptuous frame

Putting others to shame

Crisp yet husky voice

Sexy sassy attitude by choice

Brownie points for being by her side

Cling on and she would deride

Be with u till u bask in glory

Later u realize her nature’s gory

U want to be her Knight in shining armor

She ditches u the moment she hears a rumor

Heart-breaker par excellence

Wud never acknowledge ur presence

Think before u flip away ur heart

And later regret about every part

~

There is on the other hand

Someone as simple as sand

Demure and sweet

Nature none can beat

No shimmering eyes no jet black curl

Plain simple Jane like the next door girl

No airs no hassles no sexy figure

Down to earth yet full of vigor

Dresses simple sans any make-up

Will be by ur side in every break up

Holding ur hands thru ups and lows

Making u smile in all ur woes

Truthful and honest, fun to hang around

Warmth and cheer in her surround

Her talks are soothing, tender and nice

In her u wud never find a vice

Waiting and hoping someday u wud realize

That the one for u is right in front of ur eyes

Yet u choose to ignore her presence

But still she takes it to no offence

Her loyalty for you as a dear friend

Will never let ur relation meet a dead-end

~

So whom do u choose

Whom would you lose

The simple plain jane

Or the sexy female

They are different as chalk and cheese

One a peacock another plain geese

A long life-time of love n friendship

Or a temporary relationship

  1. It’s a beautiful poem and a marvelous piece of art. Lyrical yet deep. Chalk and cheese can be easily molded into a song. Keep up the good work Meg. You’re definitely going to make it big πŸ™‚

Here we’ve plain jane trying hard to please.. trying hard to be noticed.. for her nature and acharacter not her looks..

an observation – can’t sexy girls also have the other-side qualities? just because they are sexy doesn’t mean they won’t have tender heart rite…..

    • well…. thats a trend that has recently come up.. that sexy girls have a good heart too.. but the general trend is good looks gives pride and pride well..sometimes gets into ur head dear.. and then this is wat happens πŸ˜€

  4. Dammm has it been to long a time that I have visited ur blog or have been way to active on blogosphere? hehe

brilliant poem… we all learn that “all that glitters is not gold” but thats only adhered to in practice… the good sexy gal is always the first choice before the girl who is there with u no matter what… brilliantly expressed in the poem… loved it!! πŸ™‚
