~::~ Down Pours Acrid Rain ~::~

It has been like a sabbatical that I am back on my blog…. πŸ™„

so here I am with another poem….

~::~ Down Pours Acrid Rain ~::~

Tiny little butterflies

Teetering over flowers

Faraway peacock cries

Announcing monsoon showers

Bedewed stooping trees

Puddles formed on roads

Children indulged in jumping sprees

Sheepishly croaking toads

Down pours acrid rain

Burning away my pain

I stand arms spread wide

As Tiny droplets tinge

Hurt and soreness snide

But calmness does impinge

Stood there seeping in

Every droplet that caressed

Felt contentment within

Unleashing feelings repressed

Down pours acrid rain

Burning away my pain
