~::~ Lanes of Loneliness ~::~

I

Walked down

Untrodden

Unwinding lanes

Breaking free from menacing worldly chains

Earth, fire, wind, air converge, to my despair

Standing alone

Dry dead leaves

With me

Moan

Tetractys

tetractys is a complete thought written in 20 syllables.1st line 1 syllable, 2nd line 2, 3rd line 3, 4th line 4, 5th line 10 .

A tetractys can also be inverted for a 10, 4, 3, 2, 1 count, and also given the snowflake form – two verses of complete thought, one in the 1, 2, 3, 4, 10 form, followed by the 10, 4, 3, 2, 1 form.

For the first time I am combining quite a number of meme-prompts together 😀

  1. Thank for visiting, Meg, and sorry too for the late visit, I am on a deadline roll for my novel 🙂 as I already set a goal of the date completion, that’s why XD and coming back to the poem, it is once again beautiful and touching, it is hard to walk down a lonely path alone, we do need people beside us at all times to share the joys and sadness =)
