~::~ Minerva Melodies ~::~

There she sat on a boat a ‘glide

Ready for another peaceful ride

The night was dark, moon dim

She played the harp, her fingers slim

.

A tune mellifluous strings the heart

That a silky gossamer when slithers, imparts

As if the angels come down to earth

Spreading peace which is in dearth

.

Golden hair radiant with light

Flowers bloom, a pretty sight!

Enlightened face, blissful smile in trance

Velvety breeze, tree tops dance

.

On a silent night, your tune resonates

As feather tingles,  touches and sedates

O lady of angelic birth

Your songs fill my heart with mirth

O Minerva play your honeyed melodies

Warmth flows and soul’s at peace
