Here’s wishing all my friends, bloggers and readers a Very HaPPy Diwali..!!!!
~::~ Happy Diwali ~::~
Morning dawns
Excited yawns
Scented oil bath
Laziness aftermath
Bustling little feet
Scuffling for sweets
Noisy crackers burst
Silence & Evil dispersed
Millions lamp a’light
Breath-taking sight
Season of giving and prosperity
Time to break from nitty-gritty
Festival of love, fun and jolly
Here’s wishing you a Happy Diwali..!!

a very ‘sweet’ and kind-hearted poem
I like how it is filled with merriment
and joy and good wishes to others.
How interestingly odd (in a good way). It had me envisioning a large fold-out greeting card to accompany the verse – the sort of thing i haven’t seen in half a century. And it left a very pleasant feeling after reading.

I’m not too familiar with Diwali, but I hope it was a good one for you when it happened.
