And April’s here!!

No no not april fools day but the A-Z Word Challenge where we cover all the 26 alphabets everyday across the whole month, except Sundays ofcourse – cos who blogs on Sundays right!! 😉

So well, lets start the month of April with the Letter A and the Poetry Type Acrostic.

Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each line spells a word, usually using the same words as in the title.

 ~::~ Tulips ~::~

tulips

Tender stalks arranged in a line

Unfading multihued bulbs divine

Lovely colours, a beautiful palette

Incandescent romantic landscape

Perennially blooming this bulbous flower

Spreading cheer all around the year

Bitten  by the acrostic bug..

but here’s a poem i had written a long while back 😀

~::~ Daffodils ~::~

Dancing with the light breeze

All in a rhythm, your mind’s at peace

Flowers during the beautiful spring

Flawless splendor to nature, they bring

Over the hills, valleys and vales

Divine scent, tranquility prevails

Influencing many a poet to write

Lovers seek their moments of quiet

Swaying, they greet you with their sunshine
