Tom Thimble and Thory

Three Magicians gory

Years on end, they brew

Til Tom’s grey beard grew

Adding powders and mice

Smelling bad rarely nice

Scorpion legs they add

Draught turns frothy and bad

A few spiders too

Pot hissed and blew

Snake skins turn it pink

Drop of owl tears make it shrink

Thory says – Cat furs to make it right

Tom threw his shoe, added their plight

It only made it dark n murky

Bubbling and hissing yucky

These signs they see not

3 Magicians concocting broth

Potion starts to gurgle

Turn green and bubble

Pot melts and bursts apart

Shattering the shed to shards

Green and slimy Tom Thimble and Thory

3 so called magicians, this is their story

Yippeee..!!! It’s monday and yes indeed I am back with my poetry for Monday’s Child.. 🙂

so here’s my verse 😀

~::~ Two Little Girls ~::~

Lizzy and Missy two little girls

1blond 1 brunette, both with curls

Sisters them, playing in the slush

Muddy dresses, Mommy asked them to rush

“Look at yourselves, dresses dirty, unkempt hair”

Got them all cleaned, fresh clothes to wear

“Now you are grounded for days to come”

Hearing these words poor girl became numb

“You are ought not to go out and play

Inside the house I need you to stay”

“Help me around the house with chores”

Their puppy –eyed look, mommy ignores

“Here’s a pack of wool, you shall work on

Only when it’s done, shall your punishment be withdrawn”

Now little Lizzy and Missy sat on a stool

Busy sorting out red balls of wool
