I am not a mere water droplet

Not just a dewdrop, silken yet mundane

Holding a universe in me, I’m a vignette

Of beauty, marvel and spectacular arcane

Not just a dewdrop, silken yet mundane

I’m a bubble of life in marvellous display

Of beauty, marvel and spectacular arcane

Mysteries of multi-verses unknown at play

I’m a bubble of life in marvellous display

Of colour, happiness, and exotic splendour

Mysteries of multiverses unknown at play

Spreading sheer euphoria & luminescent grandeur

Incandescent lands with celestial presence

Holding a universe in me, I’m a vignette

Dwelled by ethereal beings of resplendence

I am not a mere water droplet

~::~ Dark Passengers ~::~

Dark passengers

I see translucent shades of dark and grey

Wondering why they always follow me

They seem like dark passengers of gruesome day

In brightness and sunshine they seem to flee

Murky creatures swarming around hunting prey

By darkness they flock as if on hounding spree

I wonder, lost in their silent onslaught

Sanity bleak, grasping at positive thoughts

They reside unknown, leading us astray

Weighing over us, fueling anxiety

Clawing through our innermost dismay

Upsurge of depression, insecurity

Malevolent spirits working away

Ruining our inherent sanctity

Mysterious they seem, our dark passengers

Our mistakes, troubles and innermost fears

Not just your random plastic doll

Feelings make me part human

Sensations trickling through

Grazing flesh and bones

A force keeps me

Alive and

Free

I wondered ‘bout my destiny

To let my injured soul a’free

This wretched life I’d leave in glee

Its agony… Its agony

My days spent in uncertainty

Will night end without injury?

Alas! Again he’s drunk, ominously

Smiles evilly! Smiles evilly!

Another night of violent spree

Screaming, lashing hounds my bully

Lord! End my painful misery

Oh let me flee! Oh let me flee!

I faced my fear & enemy

Smacked his head hard with a gurney

No more shall he ever hurt me

I must hurry! I must hurry!

Escaping cage & abductee

Untouched by law, I’m worry-free

Renewing my life & sanity

At last I’m free! At last I’m free!

~::~ [A-Z Challenge] ~ Lento ~::~

Day – 12, L = Lento

A Lento consists of two quatrains with a fixed rhyme scheme of abcb, defe as the second and forth lines of each stanza must rhyme. To take it a step further, but not required, try rhyming the first and third lines as well as the second and forth lines of each stanza in this rhyming pattern: abab, cdcd. The fun part of this poem is thrown in here as all the FIRST words of each verse should rhyme.

~::~ Little Butterfly ~::~

Little fairy wings on little butterfly

Brittle colors swept, on its petite wings

Whittles trails of faint dyes, soaring through the sky

Kittle tiny spores of pollen smeared by strings

Flew tiny butterfly, with wings of various hues

Strew tiny proboscis, spores of unknown blooms

View of aromatic valleys & moors on its cruise

Queue of delicate flowers, brightening up its plumes

In a world of plastic, wireless

Everything brief & temporal

Where marriages aren’t timeless

Forever seems so mythical

Friend requests sent, soon unfriended

Even friendships ephemeral

Exchanges lost in timeline threads

Forever seems so mythical

Virtual love virtual war

Relationships inflexible

Welcome to our new world, bizarre

Forever seems so mythical

In a world of plastic, wireless

Forever seems so mythical

~::~ Piece Of Me ~::~

last_piece_by_destinyblue-d4v1ohr

I’m searching for a part of me

A part that’s precious and esteemed

It’s been lost for eternity

I search but it was unredeemed

A precious part of me it seemed

                Yet unfound for infinity

I have combed for it high & low

Through the various realms of earth

Hidden mocking, it lay furlough

Concealed it stayed, content and mirth

Through all realms I tried to unearth

The mocking part veiled & stowed

Clandestine union it would be

The day I find that missing piece

Atlast I’d be complete & free

All fears and anxieties would cease

Contentment dwells & heart at peace

When the missing piece completes me

~::~ Entombed Symphony ~::~

inspiration_by_destinyblue-d6thpif

Kidnapped, captured, stuck in a box shaped room

Untouched, nurtured, locked up with no windows

With nothing to do I thought this was doom

Creeping sun rays form a musical note

Music becomes my eternal saviour

Dusk brings cacophony of crickets’ vroom

Stillness rings in the air, when zephyr blows

Moonlight streams through the cracks like misty spume

In peace, I sit with words swarming in quotes

Silence for companion and muse – nature

Sleep eludes me; I’m lost in my own gloom

On brink of sanity, hum myself slow

Dawn carries dewdrops & musky perfume

Struggling in cold I clutch on to my coat

Awaiting for strong sun to shine later

It feels like spring, maybe flowers abloom

Wafting scents of honeysuckle and rose

Eyes crave to lay sight on colourful plumes

Tears stream down, a stifled scream in my throat

Pondering my fate, recite my prayer

With renewed faith, compositions consume

Music uplifts, whilst in agony’s throes

Until destiny strikes, I stay entombed

Seasons changed, but my habitat resume

Music strengthens, amidst turmoil and woes

Kidnapped, captured, stuck in a box shaped room

Until fate decides, I remain entombed
