Haiku – Haiku (also called nature or seasonal haiku) is an unrhymed Japanese verse consisting of three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables (5, 7, 5) or 17 syllables in all. Haiku is usually written in the present tense and focuses on nature (seasons). For more details and examples on Haiku, you could check this link

Bringing forth another new form of poetry called the Lanturne

The Lanturne is a five-line verse shaped like a Japanese lantern with a syllabic pattern of one, two, three, four, one.

For more info and examples you could check http://www.shadowpoetry.com/resources/wip/lanturne.html

So here’s trying my hand at Lanturne but ofkoss I have coupled 2-3 lanturnes together making it a Tri-Lanturne 😀

 Winds

Blowing

Across lands.

Lonely it shines,

Moon

.

Solo,

She stands

Splendid poise

Embracing cool

Breeze

.

Calm

Midnight

Enfolds in

Gentle zephyr

Dreams
