Day 25 A-Z Challenge, Y = (Y)our Love (Free verse)

~::~ (Y)our Love ~::~

These are times when I need you around

To make me feel loved and special

While the aura of our love surrounds

And by you I lay securely nestled

These are times when I need you close

To hold on to and hug me tight

Twiddling away with each others toes

And squealing in pleasured delight

These are times when i need you beside

To encapsulate me in your strong arms

Our playful fingers tightly entwined

While in your breath my mellow heart warms

These are time when I need you with me

To kiss me tender ‘neath pearlescent moonlight

Butterfly touches sending souls a’glee

And passion that shines blindingly bright

Day 20 A-Z Challenge, T = Tranquilizer (Free Verse)

 ~::~ Tranquilizer ~::~

I’ve never slept so soundly before

I’ve never felt tranquil

I’ve never felt so complete before

To my fragile heart’s fill

I’ve never felt so important before

I’ve never felt alive

I’ve never been in love before

All I did was thrive

You came as rain to my flower

As blood through my veins

An antidepressant that calms me

And tranquilizer to my pain

Your thoughts give me confidence

They are the wind ‘neath my wings

Your love gives me the strength

To fly higher than all beings..

Yearning heart wants you here, now

Your intense voice that calls my name

Oh sweetheart, sets my heart a’flame

I yearn; I pine for your touch so sweet

Day 18 A-Z Challenge, R = Romance (free verse)

~::~ Amorous Dreams ~::~

Thoughts of you send me tingling
With shivers down my spine
Every inch of your face, in my eyes twinkling
While I yearn to make you mine
Your mellow voice, fresh in my memory
That made me lush beetroot red
Your dimpled smile, alive in my reverie
Twists my heart in a knotted thread
Your delicate fingers with butterfly touches
That inflame every inch of me
An intoxicating furor, potent rushes
Oh baby! You set my heartbeat a’glee

Day 13 A-Z Challenge, M = Magnolia (Quatern)

~::~ Magnolia Dream ~::~

Magnolia! You make me yearn

You blossom wild, in grief I burn

Set ablaze for eternity

My immortal love, come to me

In every life, affection spurned

Magnolia! You make me yearn

He came, he left without a trace

Oh, how I crave to see his face!

Scorned love, in every existence

Passion decried of its essence

Magnolia! You make me yearn

Time after time in every turn

Waiting ‘neath the magnolia tree

For love to set my soul a’free

I burn with the orange Saturn

Magnolia! You make me yearn!

Day 12 A-Z Challenge, L = Love (free verse)

~::~ Summer Love ~::~

In darkness I lay with my cellphone beeping!

Waiting for sleep to engulf me

And lead me down the dreamy passages

To a land where trees sing n birds danced

While I lay ‘Neath a purple foliage

With moonbeams glistening over midnight lily

And fireflies enlightening paths..

A silent zephyr playing with my curls

A love song adorning my pink lips..

I sit there by the azure lake

Awaiting his arrival with dusking sun

As the moon adorns the southern sky

The evening breeze brings his musky aroma

I hear him trudging along the valley

With faint footsteps

And with every step my heart skips a beat

As he nears, my cheeks inflame

With a tinge of ruby red

In the blink of an eye am in his arms

The place where I belong

His slender fingers contour my face

As my faint heart begins to race

A random rhythm a mighty thud

As furor begins to rise

A passionate Kiss upon rosy lips

Parched as if forever

A yearning dissolved

As fingers entwined,

We lay there, ‘Neath d starlit sky

Watching faint mars

Lost in desire, appeasing a fire

While the fireflies danced among stars
