~::~ [Book Review] ~ Bankster ~::~

There are some authors whose first book grips you enough to want to go back and read them again & again (the authors I mean). It’s the same for me when it comes to Ravi Subramanian. I have read 3 out of the 4 Banker books that he has written and luckily for me I have reviewed them all 😀 (Well am an optimist so I already included this one to the list 😉 ) Unfortunately for me Incredible Banker was one book that I couldn’t lay my hands on, the book was released when I was in UK and when I got back I couldn’t get myself to grab a copy. But surely I will read that too and knowing myself well, I might just review the book couple of years after its release 🙂

The best thing like about Ravi Sir’s works is they are is not just that it’s about Banking and gives you an insight on all the things that can go wrong/ scams in a bank but often there is always 1-2 characters that you can always relate to. I could relate myself to Swami in “If God Was a Banker” and always hoped I too would someday have a mentor to help me shape my career. When I read “Devil in Pinstripes” I could relate to the corporate politics that were depicted. Unfortunately I dint get a chance to read the Incredible Banker but back again here with “Bankster” I can’t say I could relate to a specific character but if I could I would have pretty much liked to be “Karan Panjabi” and be the one to tie up all the loose ends 😀 Ok No! am not going to give out any spoilers. There could be some Late-lateefs out there like me who take their own sweet time to read and review the books.

Banks have always known to be secretive and with innumerable policies and processes. A scam in a Bank can be well hidden and under wraps. You might never even know what hit you. I loved the narration style; 3 cities, a series of murders, 3 stories narrated parallel, with the only common thread being the current affairs involving a bank, couple of murders thrown in with a whole lot of twists and turns. The book can keep you hooked on to it especially if you are a thriller lover. Some sections seemed a little too filmy if I may say so but then if that’s what makes a book good so be it 😀 Who cares!! We all love watching movies and we all love reading books. If some authors can get away with being sleazy in books a teensy bit of filmy effect in books caused no one any harm. We have seen books been made into movies and am sure if this one was ever made into one its definitely going to be a top grosser 😀

As always Ravi Subramanian happens to be one of those authors whose books I would definitely read and add it to my book collection and this one goes straight in! 🙂

Lastly thank you BlogAdda team for the opportunity to review and unfortunately I am extremely sorry for the delayed review. 😥

~::~[Review]~::~(In)Eligible Bachelors ~::~

Marriage is traditionally the destiny offered to women by society. Most women are married or have been, or plan to be or suffer from not being.~ Simone de Beauvoir

Arranged marriages though very common in India for centuries together are still very much prevalent and happening.. The pain that the gal goes through in each of the “rishta” that comes is m sure more than what she feels during labour..There still exist the Maa-s who feel her kid(irrespective of son/daughter) is one up on the other person’s comparing qualifications, skin colour/texture, height, salary package et al. bringing the skin of Generation Y to blush a deep beetroot till their roots which otherwise on any given day would be as normal as yours or mine.

Never before have a I read any book so fast in my life 😉
Ineligible Bachelors- as the name might have already given a clue is about arranged marriage.. The narrator
also the female protagonist and her tell tales of meeting prospective groom alongside her inexplicable “chemistry n love” with her boss..Does kasturi have a say in front of an “if-u-loved-me-enuff-u-wud-meet-this-guy” mom and a “my-lips-are-sealed” dad? Will she marry the man she fell in love with.. or choose one of the guys her dearest MA chooses for her? Will She Wont She??

To all this drama add a few twists and turns accident, broken bones, hospital scenes, thugs, attempt to murder alongwith a few “crack-me-up” meets with prospective grooms and you have a Hilarious CHICK LIT..
Overall I am satisfied with the book… I laughed, cried, swore at the right places.. which definitely means I enjoyed the book.. The best thing about reading Chick-lits is relating to the characters in the book which is an important aspect to relish a book and yes to a very large extent I could relate to the main character in more than many ways.. Another tale of Happily Ever After and hell, we have enough worries in reality we could do with a wee bit of happiness in the books and movies atleast 😉 I give it a 4/5

Kudos to Ruchita Misra.. Why? Cos for being a first time author her book has definitely captured my attention and I would recommend it to my friends.. Lay your hands on this one and m sure you r definitely not gonna regret 😉
And last but not the least thanks to BlogAdda, I dint have to beg, borrow or steal to lay my hands on this lovely book 😀

~::~ Stilletos In The Newsroom ~::~

When you are new intern with one of the so-called prestigious newspaper.. what all do you have to go through to reach where you wanna be and realize your dreams??

Are you ready to accept your mistakes learn from them? Are you ready to indulge in a tiny teensy weensy bit of sycophancy and sweet talk..?? Or do you just be yourself suck it all up..

Don’t bother if they call you a slut and just go about doing your job and trying to set your own goals and reach them?

How do you realize who are close friends are and who isn’t? Is there a secret mantra to make it hit right the first time u set on that newsfloor??

Are you ready to wait for your loved one whose miles away in another country, continent or for that matter another hemisphere altogether..?? waiting for the love that you share to bring you together..

Leave your love-life to destiny and believe that if you are meant together so be it else you were never meant to be.. Can you hold on to that thought for 2 years and be completely honest to your partner without even realizing if you guys are even meant to be??

Well.. that’s the story of Radhika Kanetkar who started as an Intern and went on to become associate features editor in one of the leading newspapers..  The journey of her life from a raw age of 23 to 28…

Its truly inspiring to people who try hard to get noticed at work and also get blamed for everything they do.. Wouldn’t say it shows the insides of what goes into journalism but definitely portrays well that if you aspire you can get all that you want just play smart..

It’s a nice read.. wouldn’t say it’s a typical Chiclit cos its anything but that.. but yes since the protagonist is a female it can be classified as a Chiclit novel..

It’s a good read.. light hearted humours some mushy moments..

Give it a try..!!

My rating would be a 3/5 cos its not too gripping but its good I do feel like wanting to know wat happens next and the fact that she has a rule in every chapter makes it a lil crazy but nice 😀

Certified Readable 😀

~::~ Lafangey Parindey ~::~

The recent spate of albums that have been released OUATIM, Aisha have all been wonderful listens and adding another feather to the list is Lafangey Parindey.. I wondered why the music had a pop-py feeling to it and that’s when I saw that Music is by R.Anandh of Agosh fame.. Remember the “mujhe mil jo jaaye thoda paisa” yes yes same piece 😀 I loved most of the songs.. I can heardly put one as MISSABLE.. and with Mohit and Shilpa giving us lovely songs.. I can hardly stop listening to it 😀

Overall rating comes to lilke 3.5/5.. aahaa I knw I liked it so much and yet only 3.5 well there cud have been better songs too  right 😀 cos theres always room for improvement.. but for a debut music director this is brilliant work 😀

~

Lafangey Parindey Ronit Sarkar ~ the music starts like a rock song.. and has u hooked on the moment it starts.. Singer was aptly chosen and does complete justice to the song.. it’s a perfect for those looonggg drives…loved the lyrics – nass nass mein sheher ki banke lahoo ye daude..jis taraf ho marzi raah ko apni mode…chavi tho nahi hai milti kismet ke taale tode.. raftaaro ke ye aashiq khule hai saare ghode.. firte hai aazaad mast har mushkil ko karte hai bas rozana maut se lapak jhapak khatro se khelna  inki sazaa.. kabhi saaf kabhi ye gandhe lafangey parindey… Dhinchakkkk.. the chorus of dhingnananana is very cute and catchy 😀 over all loved the song.. definitely recommended CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Mann lafanga Mohit Chauhan ~ do u need a reason to love this song when it has mohit as the singer 🙄 the music is swaying and smooth.. And obviously Mohit delivers yet again.. and the song is mindblowing.. I hear ample use of guitar in this very simple music not much orchestration but very soothing and enjoyable.. The lyrics are cute and catchy too..  Mann lafanga bada apne mann ki kare..yu tho mera hi hai mujse bhi na dare…main sambhal ja kahun phisalta rahe..ishq mehenga pade yuhi sauda kare..The goan effect in the middle is really nice 😀 CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Rang Daalein –  Suraj jagan – thanks to 3idiots Suraj jagan seems to be everywhere in bollywood.. not that I am complaining cos I liked this song a lot.. but not so much to get so addicted to it.. Suraj as usual delivers with panache and the song is indeed nice to hear.. has the grey shade effect.. u knw the typical villain entry kinda music.. I wonder why all songs in this movie has the word lafanga/lafange I knw that’s the movie name but 3 songs so far and all 3 having the word is a tad too much… 😛 The bagpiper-ish music between the paras was really endearing.. the lyrics are ok not much..Some lines stand out like – waqt ke paao do hai paiye lage hai wo aagey aagey jaise koi  peeche peeche sepaiye hai lagey.. CERTIFIED LISTENABLE

Dhatad Thatad Shail Hada Anushka Manchanda – love the song the moment it starts.. it has the perfect rapchik raanti effect to it.. The music somewhere down the line seems to have some Bengali influence in it and I wonder why and how..?? I don’t care why they used the words dhatad thatad, its significance or wat it means but I can tell u this much I am loving this.. its completely catchy and danceable.. the moment it starts I am busy shaking and nodding my head to the tune.. 😀 The use of the famous kishore kumar line – jamkepakad cheerbhichakar is the sone pe suhaaga 😀 towards the end though I wonder why it reminded me of the typical tamil kuthu songs – the O Podu et al… the lyrics are peppy more like the why fear and worry jus get out and enjoy life types.. 😀 my fav line wud be – sunle shor chunchunke shor bhi ek manzar hai.. CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Mann lafanga (remix)–  Mohit Chauhan – u like the original u love the remix.. well that’s me… 😀 So without much ado about the song cos I am already gaga over it this one’s CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Nain ParindeyShilpa rao – everytime I hear this song and everytime I hear shilpa’s voice I love this song even more.. it’s a nice  soothing lilting number.. u really feel as if ur flying jus the way she sings it.. palakh jhatakke ud jaayenge..  brilliant piece J the music is so gentle and comforting.. the imagery created with the lyrics is mindblowing.. and with Shilpa crooning it’s a superfantabulous song J CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Born to Fly theme – after a long time I have actually heard a theme song that’s beautiful… it comprises mostly of all the songs in the movie.. and they have been awesome blended together 🙂 CERTIFIED LISTENABLE.

~

Overall the album is definitely worth a listen.. some songs obviously stand out and i would pick Mann Lafanga, Dhatad Thatad and Nain Parindey… and maybe add up Lafangey parinde to the list too..

So I give it a 3.5/5 rating 😀

Do listen to these songs and m sure ur gonna love them 😀

That’s it from Megzone for now..

Badmash Company ~ NOT Bad(ly)mash(ed) indeed..!!

OK chuck the title…. I was just trying to add some zing…

and yes i knw im super duper late with the movie completely geared up to release…

Well well after hrithik how can I leave my Shahid out…. 😉

Haan… temme temme…

And now that the movie is up for release and my Shahid loooookkkks uber-sexilicious 🙂

The promos look promising.. What with Shahid and his various make-ups and gigs..

Errrmmm… ok lemme get back to the music review of the movie… this review specially dedicated to Shammeer bhai who has been continuously reminding me about it 🙂

Well Badmash Company makes up for a Timepass listen..

As the name suggests the songs only complement the title of the movie by lots of breezy funky fast paced numbers..

Special mention of Raahat Fateh Ali Khan’s rendition Fakeera – which is an awesomefreakinglicious number… chaska and ayashi as the names suggest are complete fundooo numbers.. For serious music lovers I think Fakeera would be the only treat.. The title song – Badmash Company is equally a merry number..The starting sounds reminiscent of some english song… then there is Jingle Jingle for the Mohit Chauhan Fans… yes yes the song seems to a masakali kinda number but yes def not anywhere near Masakali.. But definitely a good listen… Over all not bad at all..

CERTIFIED LISTENABLErating 3/5

Now for a detailed review:

~~~~~
Ayashi KK – if there was one funky attitude-ey song for someone who is completely bindaas and fun.. It has to by this song… the music and the lyrics simply complement each other.. Ofcourse a perfect song for the wannabes and those who want to add some oomph attitude to them… and yes I loved it completely simply cos of it foot-tapping, head nodding music and catchy lyrics… so this one’s a CERTIFIED LISTENABLE..
Fakeera Raahat Fateh Ali Khaan – the moment the song starts you know that it has something to offer to you.. Yes indeed.. And with Raahat bhai singing.. This one is THE BEST in the album.. And the lyrics almost philosophical and yes this is one of those songs that has you hooked to it the moment you listen to it.. Though the music is in tandem with the mood of the movie/other songs.. Arthaarth (meaning) a bit fast paced with ample usage of guitar.. To hear Raahat bhai is a complete treat to the ears.. Albeit the peppiness in the song.. Raahat’s crooning adds the much needed zing… Im sure anyone who listens to this is gonna be hung-ho about it for sure.. The liberal usage of aalaps and taranas makes it most-definitely-has-to-be CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN
Chaska krishna and Uri – its one fundooo song.. Completely catchy.. I mean wat else can you expect with a title like CHASKA.. It is obviously a fun dhinchaak dikchik number…..the music is yes indeed cute to listen.. The music brings in the complete fun and frolic mood to the song.. With a slight classical and use of Indian-ness base to it.. Makes it a good listen.. CERTIFIED LISTENABLE
Badmaash Companybenny dayal MG Sreekumar –  well the starting itself gives the song an eeriness equivalent to those typical mafia/gangsta kinda feel to it. The lyrics and the opening lines also add to the typical effect ala Smooth Criminal/Dhantenan types… where the music decides and creates the mood of the songs.. The lyrics interspersed with words like ae saale lafange.. Dedh-shaane.. Etc these kinda uplifts the whole Badmash effect to the song 😉 so to me this is definitely CERTIFIED LISTENABLE
Jingle Jingle Mohit Chauhan Devi Sri Prasad – this is one helluva cute number.. It will grow on u slowly.. And for the loyal Mohit Chauhan fans yes pretty much a treat… Pritam has tried to re-create a masakali/Ibn e batuta effect.. But hasn’t managed to pull it off that well.. But that does not mean that the song falls flat on its nose.. Nopes.. It still makes up to be worth listening thanks to Mohit and his twang-ish voice.. The lyrics is a complete HINGLISH.. Well most songs in this movie are HINGLISH adding a bit of rap here n there.. So this one’s a super listen too… CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN
Ayashi remixKK – if the original was fast this is faster… and yes if that was head nodding at the speed of one nod per 3seconds.. This is one nod per second… sounds funny naa.. But trust me it is indeed so..
It’s a fun number.. But somehow in comparison of the original this is slightly better.. But the one thing that has me bamboozled is why KK pronounces it as “AYASEE” instead of “AYASHI” 🙄 wonder why.. Nonetheless definitely CERTIFIED LISTENABLE
Chaska remixKrishna – like the previous remix this one also is one of those pub-ly dance numbers.. The kind of groovy songs that would have the crowds moving on the dance floor.. And for the listeners…. Only more head nodding and foot tapping both proportional to pace of the song… In some places though the singer reminds me of HIMESH Reshammiya… wonder why… 🙄 esp wen he dint sound so in the original.. Music mein gadbad kar di kyaa.. 😕 Overall a good listen.. CERTIFIED LISTENABLE..
~~~~~~

So overall the album makes up for a good listen… when you are travelling and reading a book and jus need some background music..But not the kind of songs which would make u sit and listen to the songs.. But rather those that don’t disturb your reading speed or bother you in anyway but jus provide the background noise in the form of music.. This album is IT.. Cos except for FAKEERA and maybe JINGLE JINGLE you wouldn’t notice wen the other songs pass by.. all you would be doing is nodding your head and reading.. J

So if you’re a self confessed book-o-holic plus music-o-maniac like me who can’t do away with either esp while travelling.. And if you manage to get a very interesting book which seeks complete undivided attention and u cant not listen to music but don’t want the songs to disturb you…. This is the Album for you.. You can simply play it on and nod your head to the beats and give your darling book the much needed exclusive attention it requires.. 😛

Kites ~ High F(ly)ive

After Prince if there was one album that has captured me out rightly.. It has to be Kites..

No Nopes not cos it’s a Hrithik movie (Hayeee… hrithik!!!! 🙂 ) but the sheer good music and awesome rendition of songs.. Though the number of songs in the album is less L but they really do leave their mark..  Rajesh Roshan has proved it yet again that he can give the best to his brother’s movies..

The music a teensy weensy tadly reminiscent of KNPH ESP the title and Na tum jaano Na hum effect.. But all said and done bloody brilliant album… KK rocks in both the soft melodious lilting numbers – Zindagi Do Pal Ki and Dil Kyu Ye Mera… Simply marvelous… These songs goes into my list of all time faves cos I know for sure even if I were to listen them 5 yrs down the line I would still fall in love with them all over again.. Just like I still fall in love with Mann Ki Lagan from Paap… every time I listen to it..  These 2 songs have seized me by my senses and captivated my mind to such an extent that even in my sleep I can hear these songs as if background music is on… errr.. My dreams interspersed with them too 😳

Overall the album gets a 4/5 no not for Hrithik you sillies..C’mon grow up.. Don’t you know Main Shahid Ki Deewani hoon.. 😉

But those 2 songs are more than enough to make the album one of my all time favorites…

So go ahead and listen to them guys I’m sure you won’t be disappointed..

Ok now for the detailed review

~~

Zindagi Do pal ki KK –  if I had to choose just one song from this album and say “this is the best” it has to be this one.. Maaann.. Whatte song whatte song.. I’m yet to come out of it.. The day I downloaded and listened to it you won’t believe me I listened to jus this one track continuously for 3 days.. Yes 3 days…

KK at his mellifluous best.. Rajesh Roshan at his mushiest best..What more can I ask for.. Bliss..!!! Absolute Bliss..!A perfect blend of music direction genius and singer’s élan.. This one surely leaves a mark and keeps you yearning for more.. KK has not lost his charm at all.. Infact he has managed to weave a brand new version of himself.. I have never heard him sound like this before.. Till date he was given songs that worked on his high range potentiality but this time.. It was more on the base.. And not just that he sounds different.. So un-KK-ish and yet manages to leave you spellbound…I’m dying to see Hrithik in this song.. CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Dil Kyu mera ~ KK– the second best song in this album,… KK proves his mettle again.. A soul stirring love song.. I believe many of you might have already seen/heard this one in the promos of the movie.. This one simply melts in your ears.. Music is as usual simply superb.. Enticing and yet soothing.. The guitar notes do tend to capture your sense… CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Tum bhi ho wahi ~ Vishal dadlani Suraj Jagan – this one’s a nice breezy number.. A little fast paced.. The music is definitely nice.. A slight acapella effect to it..Loved the overall effect.. A perfect song for those recently fallen in love.. There’s not much I feel to write about the song.. I mean this one dint affect me as much as I loved the previous 2.. After listening to that this sounds a tad feeka (bland).. But definitely worth a listen.. CERTIFIED LISTENABLE

Kites in the Sky ~ Suzanne DMello and Hrithik Roshan – yes you read it write.. Its indeed sung by Hrithik himself… aaww.. Maaann… whatte voice.. No sillies.. No bias here… a very subtle lilting start slowly goes on a soprano-ish effect.. And thankfully unlike other Actor-turned-singers.. Hrithik’s masculine voice is like a breath of fresh air… I wouldn’t say he sings like a professional I don’t want you guys hunting me down and throwing stones on me… but compared to the other actor-singers HR def is a good find.. And the sheer fact that it’s English lyrics acts as a positive thing going for him.. He has sung this song beautifully.. The whole effect of the song is such that it stirs your soul.. Plays with your heart strings.. Soft n lilting.. Like a feather caressing.. Aaahhh.. BLISS..!! CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Fire (Hindi)- Rajesh Roshan Vishal Dadlani –  nice fast paced number.. Perfect danceable track.. Very peppy.. More music less words.. But the music makes up for the lack of words and packs the punch home.. Awesome mixing effects.. CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Zindagi remixas usual my typical funda applies here.. When I like the original its but obvious that I love the remixes too.. Though I’m generally against remixes but when they are don’t tactfully and present the song in a whole new manner I love them.. And DJ Amyth has done a fab job on this.. there are some remixes that you like more than the original itself for e.g. Bakhuda tumhi ho from kismet konnection this is one of those that manages to enrapture your senses and captivate your mind with its superb rendition.. CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Dil kyu mera remix same funda applies to this one too.. Infact  I feel the remix version is more alluring than the original itself.. No that does not mean the original is not nice.. If the original is superb.. This is supersplendofantabulous 😛

I hope you get what I mean now.. CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Tum BHI HO wahi – remix.. The remix is good.. But just as I said about the original.. There’s not much to write about the song.. Maybe when I see Hrithik grooving on screen I might just about have something to drool over this song too 😛 as of now this stands CERTIFIED LISTENABLE

Fire  – English –  just like the Hindi version this one is bereft of lyrics as such.. Just a few lines but then the music as I said adds the zeal and zing that’s required… this is one of those tracks which are perfect for those long lazy drives on a drizzly night.. Simply zabraakooo CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

~~~
Overall this goes right into my list of all time fave albums.. Trust me every song is pretty much worth it..
And no, no biases on I being a Hrithik movie.. After all I’m still truthful and sincere to my Shahid.. But as swetha asked me decide once and for all Hrithik or Shahid..
And I said Shahid of course but how can one forget your first love…?? 😉
Temme temme.. If Shahid is my present then Hrithik is my past.. He is my first love and how can you forget your first love..That’s impossible.. Right 😛
So go ahead guys listen up the album.. I would say it’s one of the best albums this year.. For me it rules even Prince that I so highly recommended to you all..Cos I have been glued to this album since the day I downloaded which is like more than 2 weeks now.. 😳
That clearly explains how enamored I am with this one… and the KK songs are more than enough to keep me glued for hours.. Imagine 24X7 I’m tuned to this for more than 15 days.. Which is like 😯
Moreover the lyrics are really simple..Not too much usage of heavy words.. Just plain simple Hindi… and that just adds to the music.. Rajesh Roshan and KK *thumbs up*
Over all album  – CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN :mrgreen:
That’s it from Megzone for now..
Oops…!! I Fell In Love…..
“jo dil mein taare waare de jagaa wo tu hi hai.. wo tu hi hai…”
Sree:  heyloooo… temme
She –  hiieee…wassup..??
Sree– reading re…just finished a book…nothing else.. You temme…
She – what re always reading.. You and ur books 🙄
Sree– what to do … Ur a beezee bee… you don’t have time to hang out with me…
She – stop flirting with me..
Sree–  I don’t flirt and you know that..
She – so what are you reading..
Sree– oops I fell in love..
She – what who when where why how… temme temme
Sree– Areee baba that’s the name of the book…
She – gosh..!! I thought you were serious… So whats the book about… I can make out it’s a love story but whats it like..
Sree– Areeee…With Chetan Bhagat’s Five Point Someone… we have a lot of young blogger-writers-authors mushrooming in every corner of India… Each having a school/college tale to tell… And Harsh Snehanshu is no different.. He takes us into the IIT Delhi..  The life and adventures of IIT-ites with the funny little stupid thing called “love”.
She –  🙄 Elaborate please…
Sree – This book narrates the story of Kanav Bajaj…and his tryst with love…
She – gawwdd…… so whats different……
Sree – Kanav’s peculiar name and looks are destined to have him ridiculed.. Naah he’s no geek.. He’s just a normal lean guy with braces and spectacles… and women make him tongue-tied… Till..
She – till he fell in love eh… so typical… 🙄
Sree – areee… but what else do you expect in a book titled “oops I fell in love”.. But this one’s a tad diff in some ways
She – sigh…!!! Yaa so that’s it eh… that all the book is all about.. And who is this TILL… girl that he met..
Sree – Tanya… The love of his life… The angel who entered his heart and played such a tune with his heart-strings.. That he could not think of anything but her.
She – waah waah u shud be a poet u know… is that all… He met his life changed and that’s wat this one’s all about… 🙄
Sree – Noooo re… This love story is interspersed with the trysts of his hot-stud-roomy Aryan in search of his love.. And Anuj with his many travails of Nikita..Nitika… Niti and finally I believe Nikki… wonder wat was Anuj and his fixation for “N” girls…. 🙄 And then there is Sameer the motu in the gang..Not only does he have a lot of fat but also his fetish for philosophy in anything and everything.. Set in times when Orkut was booming and Facebook was yet to make its presence felt..
She – sheeeshh.. Again the same clichéd FPS kinda story of friends…
Sree – ya you can say that… and pretty much like that this too just follows the love story of Kanav.. only he doesn’t have to worry abt Tanya being a proff’s daughter but that she has a man-hater for a mother..
She – Whaaattt….??? What do you mean man-hater woman for a mother…??
Sree – I’m not givin away the story.. You can read it up if you want to..
She – nalaayak… tell me naa…
Sree – Nopes sorry… no ways.. I have already given you a gist of the book.. Can’t give out more details… read it.. Or if you want I can lend you mine.. We can meet that way… 😉
She – Flirtooo… so how would you rate it…
Sree – It makes up for a wonderful read.. A typical sluggish day with tea or juice by the side.. Music from the iPod blasting in your ears.. Perfect for a lazy summery afternoon… 😀 I would give it a rating of 2.5/5 😀
She –  2.5 is like average… is it passable..
Sree – No No Certified Readable… read re… it’s not that bad…
She – sigh..!! Ok will see…
Disclaimer –  all characters and incidents mentioned in the post are purely fictional… Any resemblance to anyone living or dead is purely co-incidental
Eyuuupppp…!!!!
This is a book review… with a twist.. like I always do… last time it was a poetic review.. this time it was a dialogue 😉
The book is called “Oops! ‘I’ fell in love!” written by Harsh Snehanshu.. He is supposed to have been in his engineering when he wrote the book.. Whether fictional or another true story like CB.. I have no idea…  But yes the book lives upto the expectation delivered on the back cover..
I generally pick up books only if the gist on the back cover entices me.. And well this really did… and surprisingly I wasn’t disappointed.. This is one of those few FPS kinda clone-ish book that lives upto the expectations.. infact I wasn’t expecting any fun in the book at all.. Considering the fact that it was college story and I have read tooo many in the recent times.. But this on amazed me indeed…. I liked it and would recommend it but only if you don’t mind reading another college-story… with a more breezy and different flavour to it.. 🙂
Thats it from Megzone for now..!!!
