Romance With Chaos…!!

~~~
Nakul is my name..
I hate my job
Life seems a game..
Boss’ a  Slob..
Nothing ever goes my way
.
Folks at home
Want me married
And my girlfriend
Has me harried
Sigh..!! Nothing ever goes my way…
.
My peer whom I helped
Stabs my back..
Influences boss
I end up smacked
Why..??Nothing ever goes my way…
.
Girlfriend dumps
Parents embarrassed
Life in shambles
Gives me goose bumps
Crap..!!Nothing ever goes my way…
.
Colleague supports and Cares
I fall for her kindness
She’s a lesbian
S***..! Life’s a mess
Never..!!Nothing ever goes my way
.
Along comes an angel
Brand new employee
Philanthropist nature
Even inculcated the same in me
Jeeeezzz..!!Nothing ever goes my way..
.
Drenched in philanthropic ideas
We embark on an impossible expedition
We struggle yet succeed in our mission
And I get the much needed recognition
At last something did go my way…
Wondering what this is all about… Well this is a review of the book called “Romance with Chaos” by Nishant Kaushik….
And if you are wondering where the chaos in all of this… welll… is you need to read the book to know what the “Chaos” here is all about…
I have given out a niche part of the story… an outline.. a gist… but to know what exactly I am talkin about you definitely need to read the book..
It’s a CERTIFIED MUST READ from me… I would give it a 3.5/5
Cos I felt it dragged a bit in some parts… but overall its an enjoyable read… many of us would be able to relate to Nakul the protagonist, his characterisation and also his experiences..… it has typical characters from the IT industry.. some who are frustrated with whatever they do… some who would do anything to get ahead…sometimes sycophancy too… all kinds of personalities that you can see and meet all around you…
The Chaos factor is indeed the most interesting and un-put-down-able part of the book… What happens to the character of ERIC is definitely something that can keep you hooked.. whose Eric??? well.. read the book peeps…. 😀
And yes I loved the ending.. No not cos it was all’s well that ends well.. it doesn’t have the clichéd ending  where the guy get the gal..etc…etc…Nopes that’s not the end…
The end which describes that inspite of the chaos you need to find that one thing that puts you apart.. that differentiates you from the others.. that one thing that keeps you satiated inspite of the chaos… That is a perfect ending for me…. 🙂
Prince ~ Charming Indeed..!!
When you have an album full of songs from Atif Aslam what more can you ask for..
When you have songs that enter through your ears and become with one with you when your mind keeps humming…buzzing.. Muting… and echoing the same songs again and again what more can you expect…
Remixes or no Remixes this album is a CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN… 😀
Yes each and every song is simply mind-blasting.. But…there always a but… 🙄
If you’re not someone who doesn’t mind listening to Lounge kinda feel… then you can skip it…
Cos most of the songs have good orchestration and hence they give out a lounge feel… couple of them are the typical Discotheque kinda songs… perfect Dance Numbers… IF you don’t like such stuff. Skip it…
And if you do not like them but yes you are open to all kinds of music then trust me you would love this one…
Cos I do… the mere fact that 90% songs are Atif Aslam is more than enough to have me hooked on to this…
Especially when the song is “Tere Liye” its completely un-missable.. You have to have to have to listen to this one at least if not the other songs… This song has simply captured my brain cells and done such a hubble-bubble to it that all I keep humming all day long is “jannate sajai maine tere liye… chod di khudai maine tere liye…” simply supersplendofantasmashinglicious :mrgreen:
Personally I would give it a 4.5/5 partly cos it’s a superb Atif Album to have and secondly cos I loved all the songs… Neutrally thinking (see I’m so considerate about my readers…Yo! Me Saint Me.!!) 😛 I would give it say a 3.5-4 cos frankly the songs are all really good.. The music is different and catchy… definitely pulls in masses… the Music Director Sachin Gupta has definitely give a super album here… Kudos… bravo… keeps em coming… 🙂
And now for the detailed review… 😀
~~~

Tere Liye ~ Atif Aslam, Shreya Ghoshal– what do I tell about this song.. It’s one of those songs that just stick inn ur head and refuse to leave… Albeit the opening lines reminds me of that old song called “ho jaata hai kaise pyar na jaane koi naa jaane koi” from the movie yalgarThis is one of those where u simply flow away with Atif and get usurped into his world 😀 U won’t believe all my class hours this Sunday I was just humming this song incessantly my bench mate had got completely frustrated 😀 I am completely totally sincerely hopelessly in love with this song… CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

O mere khuda ~ Atif Aslam, Garima Jhingon – After Tere Liye if there’s one song that keeps you hooked on is definitely O mere Khuda… this one’s already appearing in all the promos of the movie… definitely a rocking number.. And yet another lovely number… Simply Rocking…  CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Kaun Hoon Main ~ Atif Aslam – when I saw the title of the song I thought this is gonna be like the Main kya hoon from Love Aaj Kal… but the moment Atif started crooning maaann… I was simply lost… it felt as if a wave of euphoria just washed over me and took to a distant land… Atif is simply mind-blowing in this song… He is one of those singers who can just melt your heart…. CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Aa Bhi Jaa Sanam ~ Atif Aslam – Atif at his mellifluous best in this… the way he says “aa bhi jaa sanam you naa kar sitam” maannn… if someone was to sing like this…faala main tho sab kuch chod chaadke bhaag jaati uske paas… You can’tignore this song… it simply captures your attention and leaves you yearning for more and more and more of Atif… hayyyeee…wat do I say now..I’m completely swayed with the songs… CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Jiyara Jiyara ~ Alisha Chinai, Hard Kaur – this is a typical dance number.. The starting reminds me of the Main tera Dhadkan teri from APKGK… maybe cos both the preludes are sung by Hard Kaur… But yes this is a perfect item number pub/disco number… and I’m sure this is gonna end up being a college fest rocker and also the next common dance bit in all these reality dance shows 🙂 CERTIFIED LISTENABLE

Ishq Mein ~Monali thakur – this is a feel good number… you can listen to it… it seems more like a item-number-ish kinda number… but no no ranti lyrics or music.. It’s a nice breezy number… fairly good singing too… might not appeal to all… but the lyrics are really awesome… CERTIFIED LISTENABLE

Prince Mega mix ~ Sachin Gupta – this is a mega mix in all the sense of the term… throw in all the songs of the movie… o mere khuda.. Kaun hoon main…Jiyara Jiyara… tere liye…aa bhi jaa sanam… add in some sound mixers… make sure Atif is doing his usual super-aalaap (err…thts wat I cud explain tht bit as 😕 )Add some dhinchak beats… bring in the electro –effect and you have a mega mix 😀 and yes I would mind listening to this too… yes yes I know I am against remix… but not when Atif is singing peeps… he’s the best 😀 CERTIFIED LISTENABLE

Aa Bhi Jaa Sanam (Dance Mix) ~ Atif Aslam – Add in electro mixers to this song… increase the pace…bring in the extra drums… a lil bit of mixing here and there and you have the dance mix… perfect for the long drives with music blasting from your system… and yes yes I love it.. It has Atif after all 😀 for my purposes its must listen but for the benefit of my readers.. CERTIFIED LISTENABLE

Kaun Hoon Main (Dance Mix) ~ Atif Aslam – add the electro feel… fasten the pace… add in mixers and voila you have the dance mix… CERTIFIED LISTENABLE ONLY FOR ATIF LOVERS 😀

O mere khuda(Dance Mix) ~ Atif Aslam, Garima Jhingon –lots of mixing in this one… lots of Atif crooning in this.. Garima sounds a lot like Shilpa Rao… Definitely Listenable and CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN for ATIF fans 😀

Tere Liye (Unplugged) ~ Atif Aslam, Shreya Ghoshal – aaahhh… this one’s so soft and melodious that you simply lose yourself in Atif’s voice… albeit it’s been digitized a bit…at least that’s what I feel… but he’s sung this one soooo softly and sweetly that when he says “zara paas tho aa mere” u really feel the yearning in his voice and you automatically flow with it… 🙂  it sounds like a sad version of the song this is for those who love such songs(man-himan are you listening 😛 )… CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Kaun Hoon Main (Lounge mix) ~ Atif Aslam –aaahhh perfect bliss…  perfect lounge mix… perfect for those rainy evenings with a cuppa tea and staring into those incessant droplets of water pouring down.. With a misty effect on your glass panes 🙂 CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Jiyara Jiyara (Bhangra Mix) ~ Alisha Chinai Hard Kaur –  add in some Bhangra beats.. Slow down the pace a wee bit… and you have the Bhangra MIX… naahhh that don’t impress me much 😉 So CERTIFIED MISSABLE

Tere Liye (Dance Mix) ~ Atif Aslam, Shreya Ghoshal – lots of mixing and Electro effect… not much of pace… but definitely worth listening just for Atif… CERTIFIED LISTENABLE for you guys…

Prince Theme~ this theme is more like dance mix in itself… lots of music no lyrics no nothing… just plain music.. Though it does seem a tad reminiscent of the Karthik Calling Karthik theme but it’s definitely good theme NO CERTIFICATIONS on this one… make your pick 😀

Tere Liye (Hip Hop Mix) ~ Atif Aslam, Shreya Ghoshal– though it says Hip-hop mix it gives me a more Lounge-ish effect and feels… And this being the bestestestestestest song in the album… the innumerable versions keep coming out and I religiously listen them all for Atif… So CERTIFIED LISTENABLE for you guys…

~~~
So that’s that… thus endeth the album and its mammoth review….: D
I hope you liked the review… and I really hope you like the songs too…
Trust me the songs are definitely worth listening… more than one listens actually 😀
That’s it from Megzone for now….
I Love Being Single..!!
Almost Single…!!
What happens when you’re in your late 20s with every nanosecond taking you closer to the terrifying thirties…?
When in every call all your momma talks about is marriage… When all your cousins, far-fetched relatives…even the relatives next door neighbor’s grand uncle’s daughter’s niece has got married and your still single.. Awright the last line was a slight exaggeration 🙄 so what… But that’s what this is all about  😀
You live in Delhi with the only sole solace being your 2 thicker than thick friends…they are the only ones who brighten up your ladies single nights out at the snazziest clubs… Each of you stuck in the same rut waiting for a divine intervention or a miracle for a funny-idiotic-never happens to me- thing called LOVE… in short you’re in search of your perfect soul-mate…
And worst of all… you know you are big bodied-(that’s how aisha calls herself—why do I relate myself to this 😛 ) and getting guys who are single and 30+ is like searching a needle in haystack or worse.. Searching a needle in a barn 😀
What happens when due to some divine intervention and some Swami Ka aashirwad… you finally glimpse at the perfect Adonis of your life… only neither is the moment right nor is the situation… What happens when he makes sure you accompany him almost everywhere he needs company only to introduce you to what-u-think could be a potential competitor… What happens when his cousin mistakes you to be one of those freaks who pick up gals not only for a man but also for herself…?
Amidst all this you also have Mumma, maasi (aunty) and cousin sister troubling you with innumerable questions on “are you even gonna get married”…
When your Adonis finally does ask you… Your are just too awestruck and numb to reply… and like all books and stories in the end it’s always a HAPPY Ending..!! 😀
Cos dint SRK say “if it’s not a happy ending it means the movie is yet to end 🙂 ”
This is the story of Aisha Bhatia… The book Almost Single by Advaita Kala..
Awesome… mind-blowing… and simply marvelous…sexy… sassy… a supersplendofantabulous book 😀
I’m running out of adjectives to describe this one… Though it’s a Chic lit, I assure you even guys can read this 🙂
It’s simply endearing and depicts the predicament of a typical nearing-30-still-single female… who faces the trauma from the typical Indian Society which has a stigma for women who are above the age of 25 and still single… mocking at your dressing tastes, nature, behavior, even to the extent of wondering if you’re really straight.. Sigh!! Nonetheless this is not wat the book is about… its jus a nice feel-good… humorous take into the life of Aisha Bhatia 😀 and I guess any of you singletons out there are sure to relate to her predicament J
Rock on guys go ahead and buy the book… I loved it so much that I wud say it’s a perfect un-put-down-able book 😀
4/5 from me 😀 and yes CERTIFIED MUST READ
NOTE:
Im keeping up my word of more book reviews 😉
Three cheers ~ Teen patti…!!
This was one movie which had sparked quite some interest.. Not only cos it’s a Big B movie but cos there’s another Big B in it 😉 Ben Kingsley.. And moreover it does seem to be inspired from the ashton kutcher movie 21.. only since teen patti is more popular than black jack in our country.. they have adapted the movie around this card game… I wonder why this sudden theme of sports and games for movies(Lagaan, Chak De, Striker, Teen Patti) 🙄
Ok back to the review or shud I say overview 😉
All songs are simply awesome.. I can’t pick out this or that this is the best or this is okayish.. the music, the lyrics , the singers and the effect of the songs all in perfect tandem with each other… this is one of those few albums which I can easily say is a Best/Must Buy.. simply cos all the songs are superb… The whole album is complete infact at times leave you hankering for more.. Kudos to Saleem Suleiman..
I give it a 4.75/5 simply cos I never give full marks to any albums.. No its not that they don’t deserve it its just that I always feel something lacking..or that I’m left yearning for more J
Now for my detailed analysis 😉
~
Neeyat Kharaab hai ~ Sunidhi Chauhan – awww… maaann.. this is such a wonderful song… and it kinda takes me back to the era when Cabaret was popular… welll… cabaret needn’t be a fast number.. and the sensuality coupled with a eerie-ness are definitely not worth missing… err..this one can make anyone’s neeyat kharaab 😛 CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN
Intezaar mein chupa hai kahin ~ Naresh Kamat –  this is one helluva number which can keep you glued and one of those that easily get stuck in ur head… and the music… mind-blowing..  its starts slow with low tones and slowly gathers the pace and the boldness… from the lower octave to the higher.. and the beats… maaannn.. wattay number… trust me you should definitely listen to this.. to me it kinda gives a creepy feel to it.. as if danger is just lurking around and ready to pounce on you… Oh man..! CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN…
Teen Patti ke Ghulam ~Salim Merchant – Now this is one that’s gonna not only rock the dance floors but also you mind floors… the title song and the most catchy in the whole movie.. the mere two-liner “Ikka, badshah, rani, teen yehi hai baja de teen patti ke gulam paisa” is gonna be stuck in ur head even after the song is over and you might have switched off ur ipod/system whatever u listen to… CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN
Life is a Game (English) ~ Amitabh Bachchan, Sonia Saigal – maaannn.. This ones on par with any english OST.. Though somewhere in the middle the beats are reminiscent of Pyar Impossible.. Whoever Sonia Saigal is I believe she must b an NRI.. her english is not accented but it doesn’t sound Indian in any which way.. Even Anoushka Manchanda’s would lose out to her… bloody brilliant I guess.. And AB’s sentences in between just add to the spooky effect… esp the ending lines.. they kinda remind me of AB and Manoj Bajpai’s AKS(Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra’s first one)  CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN
Neeyat Kharaab Hai ~ Sunidhi Chauhan – this is one remix that I truly madly deeply love J this one’s one of those that you would wanna blast on a long drive in ur car on the lonely roads… CERTIFIED LISTENABLE
Teen Patti Remix ~ Salim Merchant –  Same as the above.. this is one zabrakoo number.. and the remix is almost on par with the original… the remix of this remix is sure to have the dance floors burning.. its one splendid number.. I loved the beats in this one.. just cant stop nodding my head 🙂 .. CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN
Intezaar mein Chupa(remix) ~ Naresh kamat –  Oh maan.. this is crazy.. this seems to be one album where I love all the remixes too.. that’s why I said I just cant get enough of this album… This is wat I call Salim Suleiman music.. and no Sufism too.. just pure westernized Indian music.. the higher notes have been mellowed down with music but nonetheless I love this.. for you all anti-remixes.. CERTIFIED LISTENABLE
Life is  a game (hindi version) ~ Amitabh Bachhan Sonia Saigal –  loved this one as much as I loved the English version.. Here Sonia sounds sooo much Anushka Manchanda that I wonder if its really Sonia 🙄
Oh I still like it very very very much.. CERTIFIED LISTENABLE
Summertime an the Live~ Joe Alvares – this is a perfect slice of the club music.. I don’t mean on the club music.. but the kind of music that could be played in clubs/casinos and the like.. and the singer Joe has a kinda elvis-ish voice… heavy voice.. obviously cant match the king.. but seeing the fact that theres a dearth of heavy-voiced singers he’s perfect.. aw… maann.. like this one.. only it’s a tad to short 😦 CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN
~
Sigh..!! That’s all.. thus endeth the album and the review 😦
Oh ur wondering why m sad…. I liked all the songs.. and I want more.. so all I end up doing is replaying the songs… 😀
So go out guys get the music.. I swear you wont complain… atleast im glad I downloaded..
And now im just looking forward to the movie…
That’s it from Megzone for now..!!
It’s Complicated…!!!But Endearing :)
Its Complicated
How do you think you would feel.. When you realize you are having an affair with a married man.. a man who was once married to you for 20 odd years and later divorced for another younger female..And you realize you are the Other WOMAN now..!!!???!!!
What happens when you have to attend your son’s graduation ceremony… with your 2 other off springs one married and the other studying.. And your ex-husband (of 20previous years together) comes there sans his current wife (the younger woman with a 5yr old kid)… and you both re-discover the passion and lust (not exactly love) on the night before (the graduation you sillies) whilst your kids out having a pre-graduation day party…
And the next day in the honor of your son’s graduation.. The whole family..Errr…previous complete family meets and dines together after a really long time.. And you experience is your ex-husband trying to seduce you under the table… (Bloody hilarious I say 😛 ) and later you end up having an affair and enjoy every teeny weeny bit of it.. to such an extent that your ex-husband is jealous of an architect spending time with you discussing you new wud be kitchen??
This is one helluva movie… believe you me guys… if you guys wanna have some real fun stuff to do on a weekend.. Just pick up some popcorn and head straight to this one..
Ok this is some mature stuff.. Lots of puns.. Lots of adulterated stuff.. But we’re all grown up aren’t we.. Certain nuances in the movie were simply marvelous.. Scenes where the JAKE (Alec Baldwin) tries to call up Jane hiding in the shower.. Playing footsie under the table.. Jealous of Adam (Steve Martin – the architect) superb I say… sneaking into her house like a thief.. Oh my so many of them.. its funny though how a man who has left his wife for over 10yrs now has fallen head over heels again in love with her…he knows her every action-reaction… likes-dislikes..Remembers every inch of their life together like the back of his hand..Reliving every memory..Awwww….maannn…u end up wondering why they ever divorce each other…
Now for the cast… Meryl Streep OMG she’s a Diva.. a perfect Diva.. Maannn.. I pray I age as gracefully as she has… somehow she reminds me of Madhubala-meets-Kate winslet-meet- madhuri… don’t know why guys.. But so I it is…and Steve Martin.. Well, he’s his quirky self but with a touch of melo-drama to that.. And Alec Baldwin.. Big fella (psst…that’s how Meryl calls him in the movie..) 😛
Nice one.. Amply delivered by the actors.. I loved and enjoyed every bit of it.. I give it a 3.5/5…
This movie is a must watch to all those who don’t mind watching some grown up fun.. Who don’t think its gross when a man and woman romance each other in their 50s..It’s such a sweet love story… Awwww…. Choooo cuuuteeee…. I would strongly recommend this one.. But strictly for people who don’t mind it.. The others should rather watch some mindless animation movie…Final verdict – Its Complicated 😉
But worth a watch 😀
Baat Not Pakki…!!!
Toh Baat pAkki…
When a movie touts of Tabu dioing a comic role it sure captures attention.. atleast mine..
And sigh..!! me being me.. downloaded the songs.. and soweeeee 😥
I profusely sincerely honestly completely apologise  to put u guys through the torture..
But continuing my usual Samaaj Seva (Social Service – YO! ME SAINT ME 😀 ) here’s the review
~~~

Dil le jaa – jassi Javed ali, indee, shilpa rao –  anice funky punju number.. like all Punjabi numbers this one def has u shaking a leg.. nodding your head.. for the melodies wonly plees..kindly ignore 😛 I personally liked this one… this one’s a tru blu wedding swinger in the making.. CERTIFIED BARE-ABLE

Jis Din Mika –  mika seems to have taken bollywood by storm off late.. not that im a fan.. sooweeee no thanks.. I prefer his elder bro anytime.. but he seems to be getting good numbers actual… I saw the video of this one before I downloaded it.. and Sharman and Tabu intrigued me enough to download this one.. well its def not a bad listen.. another Marriage number I wud say 🙂 CERTIFIED BARE-ABLE

Jis Din remix –Mika – this is the kind of remixes I hate.. where all they do is increase the pace of the song.. add in a few rap lyrics in between.. but nothing remade-redone nothing.. CERTIFIED MISSABLE

Karle mujse pyar – rana soham pritam – I’m not sure if this is a remake of any other foreign song or no.. but trust me this is a sure winner.. I’m sure many are gonna like this.. this is on the lines of tu hi meri shab hai and kya mujhe pyar hai.. they mite be flicked from somewhere but u still love them..the guitar interludes like all pritam songs… are breath-taking.. so copied or not this ones a CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN

Phir se – Sonu – I don’t need a reason to put this one on my MUST LISTEN list.. but then being the SAINT ME 😀 I still provide u my insight on this one.. it starts with a real peppy pace.. this has an old world charm to it.. as in like the 90s songs feel to it.. but it’s a nice breezy number.. and sonu’s voice is like chocolate melting in ur mouth the moment u pop it in…yep trust me.. gosh its superbbb….. CERTIFIED LISTENABLE..

Phir se remix – I hate remixes.. and this the typical types that I don’t like.. so COMPLETELY MISSABLE

Aarthi – antara mitra – wen they are using the age old Aarthi Om jai Jagadish and not offering it even in a new way.. why bother to make a new singer do it.. might as well have used an old tape of the Aarthi.. CERTIFIED MISSABLE

Dil Le  jaa – remix – pathetic remixes as usual COMPLETELY MISSABLE

~~~
1/5 only one song really worth it Karle Mujse Pyar,, Phir SE is good only cos of SONU.. but jus 2 tracks don’t maketh an album.. so guys jus download just Karle Mujhse Pyar.. Listen to Phir Se and then decide whether you wanna download it or not… and the remaining.. just forget it…. I wonder I bothered to waste my bits and bytes downloading them 😦
In Short BAAT DEFINITELY NOT PAKKI 😡
Sigh..!!
That’s it from Megzone..!!
Striker Strikes Some Chords..!!
its Yuvan Shankar Raja giving music in hindi, you know you’re a tad apprehensive.. cos the tamil film industry doesn’t exactly work the way Bollywood does …but YSR is known for his syle of music.. If there’s someone in the Raja family after the maestro himself, I wud say YSR anytime.. so there’s an expectation too.. and well..Striker lives upto the apprehensions and expectation at the same time.. Completely.. if not urs atleast mine.. When you hear a movies surrounding a game of Carrom, I don’t expect much.. With YSR’s music there has to be something to look forward to.. The usual magical strings woven with beautiful soul-stirring words.. That’s what Striker is.. 3/5 is my personal score to the album
MUST LISTENsYun Hua (VB the great J) Pia Saanwara (for the soulful folks –read HIMANSHU* 😛 ) Cham Cham(mellifluous Sonu 😀 ) and Aim Lagaa (rocking Blaaze)
Okies…now the detailed review 😀
~
Yun Hua ~ Vishal Bhardwaj –  slight reminisces of Kaminey Title songs.. But the typical VB spell.. Mesmerizing music… Soothing words.. Serene instruments.. And you have a winner.. That’s what Yun Huaa is..The BEST SONG in this album yuppies m a VB FAN 😀 honestly sincerely obviously has to be CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN
Haq Se ~ Yuvan Shankar Raja, Siddarth– hindi song sung by YSR 😯 I was more shocked than curious.. it has his typical touch.. it has the south Indian influence.. In some places when YSR sings he reminds u of ARR albeit with a slightly heavy voice.. its an ok listen… I think this one would take some time to grow into me.. Till then CERTIFIED LISTENABLE
Maula ~ Swanand Kirkire – starts with a folk feel to it.. And like all Maula songs.. Manages to make a mark in heart and head.. Heart cos of the endearing tune and head.. Cos of the lyrics.. I see a slight Dilli -6 feel in this.. And yes its sure to be catchy and gets stuck in ur head..ESP the lyrics and the tune… but doesn’t appeal to me much so CERTIFIED LISTENABLE
Aim Laga ~ Blaaze – the most rocking number of the album.. When I say rocking.. I mean it literally.. Blaaze proves his mettle again..Rapper.. The funky interludes intermingled with the slight classical touch.. Bloody brill I wud say.. The most catchy swervy ubercool number in the album.. instantly catches on to you.. CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN
Bombay Bombay ~ Siddharth– starts with a dialogue explaining the life in BOMBAY.. After listening to Siddharth in Something Something Unakum Enakum.. I was def looking forward to his singing.. But then I must say That DON’T impress ME MUCH… the music yes.. It makes its mark.. Lines are catchy.. But siddharth’s voice personally seems to be a letdown to me.. Just for YSR this is CERTIFIED LISTENABLE
Cham Cham ~ Sonu –  I don’t need any more reason to like this song J Sonu is enough for me to make it a must listen.. But making an unbiased opinion (YO! ME SAINT ME) this is one of the best songs in this album.. The mere sufi-ness in this song and the qawwali-ish feel is more than enough to take an instant liking to this one.. Definitely has to be CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN
Pia Saanvara ~ Sunidhi Chauhan – a soulful ballad.. Been ages since I heard sunidhi at her best… so used to listening her belting out peppy numbers that forgot she has the capability to croon in a way that makes u swoon… another lovely number in the album.. Super splendiferous number this one.. Hats off Sunidhi….CERTIFIED MUST LISTEN
Aim Lagaa Rickshaw mix.. I don’t like remixes.. And in some ways I don’t like this one too.. But in some places its so catchy that I can’t stop swaying with it.. So I leave the decision of this number with you.. NO CERTIFICATIONS on this one 😈
That’s about Striker… Some strike the right chords some missed..
Overall not a bad listen…
That’s it from Megzone for now..
Keep Smiliing..!! Keep Rocking..!!! Keep Blogging..!!
Cheerios..!! :mrgreen:
*I’m sure Himanshu is gonna kill me for this.. This is the second time I’ve taken his case in music reviews.. And now that he’s back to pavilion.. I better be a tad careful (megs control kar yaar 😳 )
