for the letter R and my R= Rendezvous
~::~Rendezvous ~::~
At the stroke of midnight
A silent hymn heard
Moonbeams casting their light
Pretty mermaid spurred
Voice sweeter than nectar
Cascading golden tress
Skin glistening, honey color
Body sculpted to finesse
Magic in her mellifluous tone
Tugged at his heart strings
He stood frozen to his bone
Awestruck, while she sings
Velvety tune carried his feet
Rushing to where she sat
Enthralled by her voice sweet
Captivated by her sheen, golden matte
She stopped singing, the bubble broke
By then he had reached very close
From a daze he atlast awoke
Knelt down with a ring to propose
