Deep dark woods
Without any hoods
I trudge along
It’s where I belong..

Scent of aromatic herbs
Silence! Nothing perturbs
Peculiar chirpy crickets
Freshly blossomed rose thickets…
.
Swirling gloomy thick mist
Uncanny eeriness exists
Mermaids swimming in mid-lake
Ambling around duck & drake…
.
Foliage of multi-hued flowers
Tall shady tree towers
Leprechauns scurrying around
Spirits soaring unbound..
.
Shadowy creeping sun beams
Glistening water streams
Ambience infused magic spells
Fairies hidden in blue-bells…
.
Land of enchantments
Centaurs play portents
Charms & beauty, this realm adorns
My abode of magical creatures & unicorns…

Great writing!! wonder if it wont even be better if you left us with more of yourself in the poetry….great fantasy but lacks the fire the comes from “emotional” poems …. but having said that i luv your theme and will be learning from this and any others you may have….an aspiring writer
